Electrical Test Technician

Job Description

As a Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growing mobile and cloud computing markets with a portfolio of power, thermal, and infrastructure management solutions.

Responsibilities

Perform functional testing of UPS, Charger, and Inverter modules.

Conduct witness tests and assist Test Engineers in conducting witness tests.

Verify conformance to all specified requirements.

Perform electrical tests and systems testing on UPS units.

Design and develop instrumentation systems that incorporate uncertainty analysis for accurate testing.

Collect data using electronic equipment.

Conduct physical and functional inspections of electrical components.

Operate test bays/stations and associated equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair faulty components.

Evaluate products against engineered standards including UL/CSA/IEEE standards.

Review order write-ups and ensure product quality.

Configure and connect system equipment, such as switchgear, SCCT cabinets, and power ties.

Perform preliminary inspections and tests.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electronics.

Experience in electronic testing.

Knowledge of electrical circuitry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with PCB, Test Engineering, Electrical Circuits, Analog and Digital Circuitry.

Proficiency in using electrical instruments and test equipment.

Work Environment

Work in a clean manufacturing environment alongside 12 other engineers and technicians. Opportunities for career growth into a Test Engineering role. Hands-on technical troubleshooting and training, with potential partnerships with major tech companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and Meta. Shift options include 2nd shift from 2:30pm-11:00pm with required overtime, including Saturdays, and 1st shift from 6am-2:30pm with potential overtime on Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00/hr.
