Job Title: Production Technician

6am-3:30pm shift.

Job Description

The Production Technician is responsible for operating production tooling and equipment to achieve production and quality goals. This role involves maintaining the integrity of the Business Operating System and alerting management about any situations that do not meet quality system requirements. The Production Technician will also be responsible for maintaining the integrity of tooling and equipment, moving suspect assemblies or components to the Non-Conforming or assembly rework area, and adhering to company guidelines for emergency evacuation.

Essential Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Good written and mathematical skills.

Good communication and team working skills.

Possesses color and/or appearance testing approval where applicable.

Familiarity with quality specifications and documentation in an automotive environment is a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Automotive industry experience is highly desirable.

Internal training including orientation, vision and culture, departmental training, production system, process 12 - preventive, corrective and nonconformance management.

Employees are offered a salaried position once they complete 560 hours of work. The company values punctuality and regular attendance, providing a structured work environment with clear expectations.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and non-climate controlled with large industrial fans. Steel-toe footwear is mandatory, and safety vests and glasses must be worn at all times. The dress code prohibits yoga pants, allows cargo-style shorts, and prohibits cell phone use on the production floor. Employees are expected to maintain punctuality and regular attendance, with specific policies regarding tardiness and no-call/no-show incidents.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.35 - $16.35/hr.
