We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for data collection software on both proto@type and shipping hardware! The ideal candidate will have experience working with sensing systems and a track record of delivering products and developing talent on their team.

Description

-Lead a team delivering data collection software across multiple Apple Devices

-Develop the engineers on your team and drive for engineering excellence

-Plan and execute strategies for enabling new features and hardware through data

-Integrate with ground truth systems

-Create experiences that are engaging and easy to use

Minimum Qualifications

BS or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

5+ years of proven experience in system software development, or equivalent experience

3+ years leading a development team

Expertise and proficiency in C++, Objective-C, or Swift

Preferred Qualifications

Passion for product ownership and track record of product development

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to coordinate the efforts of multiple teams

Self-directed: the ability to drive a project from a simple idea to production

Experience with sensing or video systems

Strong system level understanding

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $198,300 and $342,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
