Summary You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Administrative Office of NAVBASE KITSAP SILVERDALE WA. Responsibilities You will analyze processes to determine the most efficient way to organize work within administrative programs (e.g., record keeping, processing). You will develop methods to solve process problems to improve productivity within an organization. You will establish procedures to assess the effectiveness of administrative policies or processes. You will develop documentation or reports to summarize results of manpower assessments or studies. You will act as the assistant administrative officer for Naval Base Kitsap. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and/or modifying work methods, organizational structures, management processes, and program administration procedures to perform management analysis; 2) Determining whether requests for funds are proper, necessary, and timely; 3) Identifying and/or resolving budgetary, personnel, and resource management problems (i.e. development of alternative methods of funding, administration of budget execution plans, organizational restructuring, etc.); 4) Ensuring all applicable policies and procedures are implemented and executed for each program. Work is primarily sedentary with some walking, standing, and bending. Manual dexterity is required in operation of a calculator, computer, shredder, and/or other office machines.
