Description
As a Staff Software Engineer focused on AI and Machine Learning, you will lead the full lifecycle of designing, building, and deploying cutting-edge AI/ML systems. Your work will center on leveraging large language models (LLMs) to create intelligent, autonomous solutions.
You will architect and drive the development of advanced agent frameworks grounded in Agentic AI principles, enabling systems to make decisions and execute tasks independently. With full ownership, you'll implement backend infrastructures and automation pipelines that enhance design workflows, improving both efficiency and precision. This role is ideal for a senior -level engineer who thrives on accountability and technical leadership-from early-stage prototyping to scalable deployment and ongoing optimization. You'll be at the forefront of innovation, contributing to the advancement of next-generation technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and implement AI/ML models for signal processing, predictive analytics, and system optimization.
Lead the development of software tools and frameworks that integrate machine learning into product workflows.
Collaborate with hardware engineers, data scientists, and product teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
Optimize algorithms for performance, accuracy, and resource efficiency.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership across the organization.
Stay current with emerging trends in AI/ML and evaluate their applicability to ongoing projects.
Systems Architecture & Model Integration
Lead the integration and deployment of advanced AI models (e.g., GPT, Gemini, Claude, Llama) across engineering teams, ensuring intelligent, autonomous data flow throughout backend systems.
Define and uphold technical standards for model implementation, serving as the go-to authority for operationalizing AI capabilities.
Agentic AI & Intelligent Frameworks
Own the end-to-end design and development of agent-based systems using Agentic AI principles and frameworks such as Langchain, OpenAI Agents, and Google ADK.
Set the technical direction for autonomous system behavior, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Backend Engineering & API Development
Architect and maintain high-performance APIs and backend services to support seamless LLM integration, leveraging frameworks like Flask and FastAPI.
Manage backend database infrastructure, including the design, scaling, and optimization of SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases.
Data Infrastructure & Retrieval Systems
Drive backend initiatives focused on data architecture, including the implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to enhance LLM performance.
Oversee the design and deployment of robust data management solutions that support scalable AI workflows.
RFIC Design Automation
Architect and continuously refine software systems that automate critical stages of RFIC design-simulation, data collection, and verification.
Champion automation strategies that improve workflow efficiency and design precision.
Research & Technical Documentation
Independently explore emerging AI/ML technologies.
Produce clear, actionable documentation to support knowledge sharing and adoption across engineering teams.
Skills
AI/ML, PyTorch, Python, C++, deep learning, RF circuit design, AWS, embedded systems
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with edge AI and embedded systems.
Knowledge of signal processing and statistical modeling.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Direct experience with CMOS and/or RF circuit design.
Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD best practices.
Proficiency in scripting (Perl, Python, R, Matlab, Shell), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Familiarity with IC verification, analog/digital IC design
Knowledge of neural networks, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Experience with EM simulation tools (Cadence, ADS), distributed systems, and advanced data storage principles.
Deep understanding of LLMs, generative AI, agentic design patterns, and scalable data management.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $81.00 - $107.00/hr.
