Buying Allocator

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

The Associate Buyer/Allocator will help support buys and allocations for the retail (brick and mortar) division of the organization. The Associate Buyer/Allocator is highly capable, skilled and self-motivated individual who works collaboratively with own department management, production, distribution and retail to support the overall performance of the company's brands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports department management with day-to-day activities and projects.

Initiates analysis of business trends, including but not limited to, category performance, regional, selling, and size selling.

Recommend strategies based on location performance including seasonality, style, category etc.

Work directly with the field teams and merchants to determine the optimal inventory levels and product initiatives for all company initiatives.

Partner with production team regarding ship status, shortages and overages.

Own store allocations and in-season store transfers based on current trends and historical data.

Enter sales order in Full Circle and adjust orders as needed.

Allocate Pre-Books, weekly replenishments and send pick tickets.

Issue RAs and own RTW process.

Clear communication to stores regarding store-to-store transfers and RTW.

Attend weekly business meetings and make value-added contributions.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

Ability to complete tasks timely and exceeding time management skills

Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities

Organized with attention to detail while consistently maintaining sense of urgency

Able to prioritize workload, troubleshoot problems, and offer solutions

Experience with Full Circle

Excellent writing and analytical skills

Strong critical thinking and presentation skills

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 2 years industry experience.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience

This position pays $85k annual base salary.
