Summary
The Stockroom Associate is responsible for managing inventory, kitting materials for production, and ensuring accurate record-keeping of stocked items. This role supports manufacturing operations by maintaining organized storage areas, tracking material movement, and assembling kits according to production schedules.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Inventory Management
Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Ensure materials are stored properly and easily accessible for production needs.
Process material requisitions in accordance with production requirements.
Maintain First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory control and lot traceability.
Package finished goods and assist in preparing them for shipment.
Kitting & Material Handling
Assemble kits of parts and components based on work orders and production schedules.
Verify all required materials are available and properly labeled before distribution
Perform PO Receipt and Inspect transactions
Identify material shortages and coordinate with the team lead to resolve issues.
Deliver materials to appropriate departments in a timely and efficient manner.
Stockroom Operations
Organize and maintain a clean, efficient, and well-labeled stockroom.
Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) to move stock.
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures regarding material storage and handling.
System & Documentation
Use the ERP system to manage inventory transactions in and out of the stockroom.
Generate and analyze various inventory reports for tracking and optimization.
Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain compliance with SOX / 404 internal audit controls and related documentation.
Compensation
$18.50-24.50/hr
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
1-3 years of experience in inventory management, material handling, or stockroom operations (manufacturing experience preferred).
Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.
Ability to read and interpret work orders, packing lists, and other inventory documents.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Due to federal contract obligations, must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Supervisor Responsibilities
Does not have any supervisory responsibilities but may serve as a coach and mentor for other positions within the organization.

Language Skills
Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos. Must have ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Possess the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands *
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and or arms to pull handles and push buttons and reach objects. Requirements may also include climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching or crawling. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
