Summary You will serve as a CUSTOMER ADVOCATE in the Customer Advocate Office (0CA) of NAVSURFWARFCTR PANAMA CITY DIVISION. Responsibilities You will support the Customer-funded efforts at NSWC (Navy Surface Warfare Center) PCD (Panama City Division) by managing the administrative, financial, business, and technical relationships between the Customer (sponsor) and NSWC PCD. You will utilize systems engineering and program management disciplines, skills, and practices to interact with the sponsor, the Lead CA, relevant NSWC TPMs, and other Warfare Center personnel. You will assess and align current and future technical requirements with workforce technical capabilities to manage the Warfare Center (WC) workload. You will provide overall program management and oversight for all sponsor programs under your cognizance at NSWC PCD. You will maintain a national perspective, act as a smart buyer and honest broker, and ensure work is assigned to the appropriate WC site(s). You will regularly communicate overall program status, issues, new requirements, and significant changes in workload to support the NSWC PCD Customer Advocate office, Deputy Technical Directors, and Commanding Officer. You will remain significantly engaged with program oversight and corresponding Technical Project Managers to ensure cost, schedule, and performance discussions between relevant parties occur. You will speak internally and externally for NSWC PCD regarding workload commitments, including changes in scope for existing workload, and serve as a recognized authority and expert consultant in the sponsor's program. You will conduct workload forecasting, develop roadmaps, participate in national strategic assessments, and contribute to NSWC PCD's strategic workload and technical capabilities planning. You will approve work packages and coordinate closely with the Code 0CA, Department(s), and NSWC PCD financial managers to ensure proper financial and contract administration for the programs is achieved. At least 3 of these 24 semester hours must have been in calculus; OR 1520-Mathematics Series: A degree in mathematics; or a combination of education and experience - courses equivalent to a major in mathematics (including at least 24 semester hours in mathematics), plus appropriate experience or additional education. The total coursework described above must have included differential and integral calculus and, in addition, four advanced mathematics courses requiring calculus or equivalent mathematics courses as a prerequisite.
