Accounts Receivable Specialist

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be part of the corporate accounting team supporting various internal departments. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Mishawaka, IN (On-site)

Pay Range: $20-$25 per hour, based on experience

Shift:

What's the Job?

Accurately apply incoming payments (checks, ACH, wires, credit cards) to customer accounts and invoices.

Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, and unapplied cash.

Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of AR transactions.

Process credit memos, account adjustments, and write-offs in accordance with company policies.

Communicate with customers regarding payment issues and provide excellent service.

What's Needed?

Minimum 5 years of consecutive Accounts Receivable experience in a manufacturing environment.

Proficient with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
