About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled graphic/production designer to join the Marketing Services & Customer Communications team within its Merchant Services business. This role is responsible for partnering with marketers and communicators to produce, update, and maintain a variety of printed and digital documents in compliance with Wells Fargo brand standards and accessibility requirements. The ideal candidate is creative with a strong eye for detail, a deep understanding of production processes, and the ability to maintain brand consistency across all deliverables.
Various design and desktop publishing responsibilities include designing presentations and flyers; selecting and editing images; building accessibility into digital files; and preparing artwork in Adobe InDesign. While much of the work is focused on updating materials and templates originally designed by creative agencies, the candidate may also have the opportunity to translate design concepts into new production-ready files for both print and digital platforms.
In this role, you will:
Design or update layouts for interactive media, production artwork, and marketing materials.
Finalize design files for print (e.g., flyers, direct mail letters) and digital (e.g., web banners, email graphics, HTML templates and graphics).
Collaborate with others on design direction, then create or revise files based on project specifications.
Prepare direct mail letters with variable data input and ensure technical accuracy.
Ensure all files meet printer and platform specifications (color profiles, resolution, bleeds, formats).
Maintain brand consistency across all deliverables.
Build accessibility into digital files per Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) Level A and AA standards.
Develop, recommend, and present various concepts that drive desired outcomes to meet business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Graphic Design experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Professional).
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, with the ability to produce creative PowerPoint presentations.
Deep understanding of print production and digital file requirements.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge Wells Fargo brand standards or the ability to work within a framework of design standards.
Demonstrated ability to execute tasks independently and with technical accuracy upon receiving direction from others.
Knowledge of accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA).
Experience in creating interactive forms and complex email templates.
Job Expectations:
Work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days a week in assigned office.
