Cash & Banking Manager (Hybrid Schedule)

Job Description

The Manager of Cash and Banking will support Aramark?s Global Business Services (GBS) by overseeing key daily operations within the Cash & Banking accounting team. Reporting to the Director of Cash and Banking, this position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of cash-related transactions, supporting internal and external financial reporting requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the department. The manager will lead a team of supervisors and analysts across GBS and other business units to support organizational financial objectives.

Job Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations within the Cash & Banking function to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions and adherence to internal controls.

Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, ensuring high performance and engagement.

Ensure team compliance with company accounting policies, SOX requirements, and financial procedures.

Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.

Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership to improve efficiency and control within cash operations.

Identify, lead, and support process improvement initiatives to enhance automation, scalability, and accuracy in banking and cash processes.

Collaborate with internal departments including Treasury, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Accounting to resolve issues and streamline processes.

Assist in preparing internal and external audit documentation and respond to auditor inquiries.

Help foster a culture of compliance, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion when handling sensitive information.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Director.

Qualifications

Bachelor?s degree in finance or accounting required; however, significant relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.

MBA a plus

7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including 2+ years of supervisory experience.

Experience in shared services center environments required.

Solid understanding of SOX requirements required.

Solid understanding of financial processes required.

Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
