Summary You will serve as a Engineering Technician (Naval Architecture) in the Engineering and Planning Department (Code 400) of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR This announcement is for an Upward Mobility Program position. Responsibilities You will research information, analyze and evaluate deficiencies, and assist with determining the approach to resolve deficiencies including immediate and long-term corrective actions. You will develop and recommend changes and coordinate implementation of resolutions. You will manage, research, and define test requirements and specifications (including drawings and sketches), evaluate and analyze data, and provide technical engineering reports. You will review proposed design modifications to existing TRIDENT (and other) ship systems and equipment with a view toward alleviating potential problems by influencing the hardware design. The entry level for this position is GS-09/GS-10 with a full performance level of GS-12.
