The Veteran Experienced Talent (VET) Program is a 6-week direct hire program dedicated to hiring military talent. Veterans are hired as full-time employees and will receive support and coaching aimed at supporting transition into Wells Fargo. The program includes a two-day Military Orientation led by the Military Talent Strategic Sourcing (MTSS) Team or Learning and Development Facilitators. Weekly professional development sessions are held to ease transition, network, and build camaraderie within the cohort. In addition, VET Program Alumni are available to mentor and support hires.

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Risk Analytics Consultant to join the Capital Markets Reconciliation COE. This position is an oversight and support role for reconciliation activities, supporting Trading and Foreign Exchange Operations, Securities, and Accounting Operations.
In this role, you will:
Analyze the impact of business initiatives on the reconciliation and control environment.
Develop requirements for new reconciliations and controls in support of those business initiatives.
Review and analyze sources to extract data and draw comparisons of data elements for opportunities of automated matching.
Collaborate and consult with stakeholders throughout the enterprise
Manage and monitor current processes to ensure efficiency and maintain process standards.
Perform reconciliations as needed in support of both onshore and offshore activities.
Provide guidance and serve as a point of escalation for reconciliation activities.
Assist with various requests from governance and audit teams.
Provide functional advice and training to team members
Required Qualifications, US:
2+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
2+ years reconciliation experience, particularly with automated reconciliation tools, with an understanding of how automated reconciliations are designed.
Critical thinking and attention to detail are essential.
Knowledge and understanding of securities industry and securities processing/operations.
Strong technical aptitude
