Teksystems has a client on the Northeast side of Columbia, SC that needs to fill IT Administrator. The role is slated as a 6 month contract to hire with the client.

The IT Administrator will analyze, design, and troubleshoot the facility's information technology systems and processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness. Uses defined policies and procedures to evaluate, recommend, and implement new IT systems or enhance existing systems to integrate with current and future needs. Supports management with project planning, risk assessment, and project tracking to deliver timely IT solutions within budget. Additionally, the provides support to end-users, assisting with software and hardware malfunctions, setting up new equipment, and documenting and escalating issues as necessary.

The client is looking for a true "jack of all" as they will be handling a variety of tasks. Handling end-users and implementing new devices both on the server and network side.

HUGE PLUS: Manufacturing experience

This person will be the only IT support at this location and will work hand in hand with their IT team in India.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
