Examples of Duties

Duties & Responsibilities:

Performs work in digital printing, photocopying, and limited binding operations.

Produces high-quality printed materials, including multi-color work on a variety of paper stocks.

Manages multiple print jobs from various departments, prioritizing tasks, coordinating schedules, and maintaining clear communication to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.

Troubleshoots equipment issues and works directly with the equipment manufacturer to coordinate and schedule equipment preventive maintenance.

Adjust settings on copiers as necessary to meet print specifications and optimize image quality.

Utilizes internal systems as required to assist with pricing, purchasing print supplies and entering purchase requisitions.

Collaborate with the Business and Finance departments to reconcile costs for each job and manage billing to individual departments.

Works closely with the Receiving team to assist with package receipts and related check-in and inventory activities.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Typical Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Experience:

Familiarity with digital printing workflows and printing equipment is a plus but not required.

The college will provide required equipment and process flow training and education.

Competencies and Skills:

Strong desire to learn and expand knowledge.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across departments.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods throughout the day.

Terms of Employment:

This is a part-time position located primarily at the Mays Landing campus.

Hours will vary monthly based on workload.

Flexible scheduling may be required, including evenings and weekends, with occasional duties at other Atlantic Cape locations.

Supplemental Information

This is a part time position requiring up to 26 hours per week.

Paid sick leave in accordance with NJ Sick Leave Law

Defined Contribution Retirement Program (DCRP) (https://www.nj.gov/treasury/pensions/pension-active-dcrp.shtml)

Eligible part-time employees will be enrolled into the DCRP (Defined Contribution Retirement Plan) pension (https://www.nj.gov/treasury/pensions/pension-active-dcrp.shtml) . Employees contribute 5% of their base salary and the college contributes 3% of base salary. Investment options are managed through Prudential Retirement. Life insurance benefits through DCRP are payable to the beneficiary at 1.5X the member's salary.
