Position Overview
We're looking for a highly collaborative Marketing Operations Manager, Campaigns to lead the operational execution, technical setup, and reporting infrastructure of integrated marketing campaigns across Paylocity's go-to-market teams. This role plays a critical part in turning marketing strategy into execution - coordinating teams, tools, and tactics to deliver revenue-driving campaigns.
You'll work cross-functionally with Analytics, Content/Creative, Demand Gen, Product Marketing, and Sales teams to streamline execution processes, align systems and messaging, and ensure every campaign runs smoothly from kickoff through post-launch. You'll manage campaign execution in HubSpot, supporting nurture programs, campaign reporting, and email automation - while keeping timelines, deliverables, and QA on track.
This position is essential to launching campaigns successfully, ensuring alignment and support from the creative brief to sales enablement.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management & Cross-Functional Coordination
Oversee the day-to-day technical execution of campaigns in collaboration with Creative, Content, Acquisition Media, Product Marketing, and Web teams
Facilitate campaign operations intake process, timeline management, and stakeholder communication
Align campaign messaging with outbound sales efforts - coordinating with SDRs and Sales to ensure consistency across touchpoints, including outreach via Salesloft.
Maintain and publish a centralized campaign operations calendar to ensure visibility across execution teams
Marketing Automation & Reporting Execution
Manage campaign execution in HubSpot, including email setup, form creation, list segmentation, workflows, lead scoring, and notifications
Maintain consistent UTM standards and campaign tagging for accurate attribution across Salesforce and HubSpot
Partner with the Analytics team to validate tracking and support performance reporting across Marketing and Sales systems
QA all campaign elements - emails, forms, and landing pages - for accuracy, accessibility, and compliance
Process Enablement & GTM System Alignment
Partner with stakeholders on supporting GTM tools (including Salesforce, 6sense, Adobe Experience Manager, etc.) to align technical capabilities with campaign needs
Align campaign messaging and assets across SalesLoft, Highspot, and DemoStack to ensure consistent outreach and follow-up
Document campaign processes, best practices, and reusable playbooks to improve scalability and team efficiency
Optimize the Marketing Operations request/ticketing system in Wrike to support turnaround time and campaign velocity
Email Program Strategy & Lifecycle Marketing
Lead the execution of lifecycle email programs across the buyer journey (from awareness to purchase) in alignment with campaign strategy
Design, implement, and refine automated email nurture flows to improve engagement, lead quality, and conversion rates
Collaborate with Content, Client Communications, Product Marketing, and Sales teams to align email messaging to personas, funnel stage, and campaign objectives
Monitor and optimize email performance metrics (open rate, CTR, conversion) and apply insights to improve targeting, timing, and content
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in marketing operations or campaign execution in a B2B SaaS environment
Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar MAPs (Marketo, Pardot, etc.)
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and campaign tracking
Experience managing cross-functional campaign execution and stakeholder alignment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on QA, process, and documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - comfortable bridging technical and non-technical team
Experience with marketing tools such as 6sense, Wrike, Vidyard, Reachdesk, Slabfive, or Drift
Familiarity with sales enablement platforms like SalesLoft, Highspot, or DemoStack
Understanding of lead funnel metrics, attribution modeling, and performance reporting, and how to represent them in BI tools
Knowledge of email compliance and data privacy (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA)

The base pay range for this position is $83,000 - $108,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
