Salary Range: $62,000 to $78,000

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Marketing Coordinator creates video and written content, keeps CEI's website current, serves as an internal communications resource, recommends and executes intranet updates, visits jobsites to document progress and provides general support to the team when needed. This role is adept at the Adobe Creative Suite of products, SharePoint and is comfortable researching, recommending and implementing new technology.
Serves as communications point person to internal teams on change management and communications projects to gather, synthetize and publish information that helps employees stay informed and do their jobs effectively.
Works with both field and office employees to build relationships, gain knowledge about the business and tell stories of all kinds.
Is a resource to the content creators on the team to support them in executing video, written, web and creative projects.
Serves as team "expert" on user experience and design to ensure that information on CEI's website and People Team intranet pages is clear, concise and easily accessed by those who need it.
Updates external website (CEI.com), as needed, with content gathered from the Connection project highlights, executive promotion/move announcements, media coverage and website plug-ins. Uses good judgment and guidance to ensure the information made public does not violate Quanta, CEI or customer agreements.
Helps document project progress with photos, write-ups when needed.
Serves as proposal back-up when Proposal Coordinator is unavailable or out-of-town.
Supports creation of podcast, helping in recording and production of content when needed.
Performs occasional "light" visual/graphics support in course of role and finds compelling ways to present information.
Other job duties may include keeping files/assets organized and properly categorized, assistance with philanthropic activities and events.

Supervision: Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
ABOUT YOU
Technically savvy with a track-record of video and graphics software use, content management system knowledge. Experience with Microsoft and Adobe products.
Good written and verbal communicator.
Comfortable working with people at all levels, including people on jobsites and in offices.
Is curious and creative, comfortable brainstorming ideas for campaigns, video content, and event themes.
Detail-oriented and self-motivated-can manage multiple projects and priorities with composure. Meets deadlines and communicates status of projects clearly.
Comfortable assembling and presenting content to audiences.
Is flexible and has good problem-solving skills when deadlines, projects and resources change.
Experience with social media: Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.
Preferred Skills
Interest in the construction industry, its people and projects.
Creative thinker who likes to brainstorm and execute new ideas. Not afraid to think "outside the box."
Respects and embraces differences of opinion, ideas and backgrounds.
Sense of humor and ability to connect with co-workers to build trust.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: Degree in or study of Journalism, Marketing or related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of copywriting/editing, journalism, marketing training and/or experience.
