Note: The hourly rate for this position is $35 - $45 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

Review blueprints and plans to determine the scope of work Calculate costs

Determine the materials and labor required, and price them accordingly Consider all factors

Account for the potential impact of weather, insurance, and the duration of the work Ensure compliance

Make sure estimates meet legislation, standards, and safety requirements Communicate

Work with subcontractors and suppliers, and provide customer service Negotiate

Check and negotiate the cost of changes submitted by contractors Prepare reports

Prepare and review tender submissions, and prepare reports and correspondence

Qualifications:

Valid MA Driver's License

Knowledge of NEC

Ability to read blueprints

Ability to work independently

Ability to learn new material quickly

Able to work & communicate with Engineers & Architects

Knowledge of Vision & PlanSwift Software
