EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent.

Experience working in an administrative assistant position.

Associates Degree preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Generates inter-departmental notices and reports daily as needed.

Prepares daily routine and confidential correspondence for the Principal.

Coordinates travel and conference arrangements daily as needed for the Principal.

Sorts mail, schedules appointments and maintains calendars daily for the Principal

Answers the telephone, takes messages and directs callers as appropriate daily.

Assists new teachers with orientation.

Maintains files and records for the Principal daily as needed.

Assists the Principal with State and Federal reports as needed.

Distributes and collects federal lunch application forms.

Completes daily, monthly and annual reports for District, State and Federal reporting as needed.

Orders supplies, prepares print orders, compiles new student files as needed daily.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
