Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for Vineland Board Of Education in Vineland, NJ. The Vineland Board of Education has 15 schools, consisting of Pre-K through 12. This is a ten month position, summers off. This is a unique opportunity with a succession plan in place, and therefore, an ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent credit hours and industry experience. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools. have oversight of day-to-day operations

deliver high-quality food service

achieve company and client financial targets and goals

develop and maintain client and customer relationships

develop strategic plans

What You Bring

have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively

have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance

can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service

prior K-12 experience is preferred

prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement -Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
