About the Role:

The Warehouse Employee PM plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of inventory during the afternoon and evening shifts at our B Fernandez, CG1 location. This position is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, maintaining organized warehouse operations, and supporting overall supply chain effectiveness. The role requires close collaboration with team members to meet daily operational targets while adhering to safety and quality standards. The Warehouse Employee PM will contribute to inventory accuracy through meticulous record-keeping and timely reporting of discrepancies. Ultimately, this position ensures that warehouse activities run smoothly, supporting the broader goals of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.

Basic literacy and numeracy skills to accurately process orders and inventory.

Availability to work afternoon and evening shifts as scheduled.

Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift operator certification.

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills to effectively work within a team.

Prior experience in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities:

Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

Organize and store inventory in designated locations to optimize space and accessibility.

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.

Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as required.

Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse environment.

Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Skills:

The required skills such as basic literacy, numeracy, and physical stamina are essential for accurately processing orders, managing inventory, and performing manual tasks safely throughout the shift. Preferred skills like forklift operation and familiarity with warehouse management systems enhance efficiency and safety in daily operations. Strong organizational abilities help maintain an orderly warehouse environment, which is crucial for quick retrieval and dispatch of goods. Effective communication skills facilitate teamwork and coordination, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to standard. Together, these skills enable the Warehouse Employee PM to contribute meaningfully to the overall productivity and success of the warehouse team.
