This position allows you to utilize your experience to provide administration and clerical support, ensuring operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will be responsible for a wide variety of multi-functional administrative tasks to include purchasing, human resource functions, timekeeping, budget and fiscal analysis, lead worker to clerical staff, as well as accountability for incoming revenue and visitor services. Work involves interpreting and applying statewide Park and Department administrative rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in order to make decisions that may affect administrative functions and operations of the Complex. Additional responsibilities include: Purchasing materials and/or services Preparing budgets estimates and monitoring expenditures Maintaining personnel files Greeting the public Preparing correspondence Maintaining time and attendance sheets as well as records of absences for employees within the park

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
