The Senior Accountant within the Accounting Center of Excellence (CoE) will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the accounting team. You will report to the Accounting Manager and ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. You will have a strong background in accounting, proven collaboration skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Oversee and manage our revenue recognition following US GAAP standards. Develop, document, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Work with sales, legal, and operations teams to review contracts and ensure revenue recognition. Support month, quarter, and year end reporting activities for accurate reporting Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Participate in monthly balance sheet reviews working with the business and SSC Investigate and resolve accounting issues Support OneStream reporting to ensure it is performed accurately Ensure integrity and reliability of all financial transactions and that they follow US GAAP and JBT standards. Support internal and external audit requests, and participate in efforts to remediate audit and control findings. Document standard operating procedures and instructions surrounding accounting procedures. Share best practices in accounting practices with others in the Accounting Center of Excellence and support the Accounting Manager to implement them within the team. Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead the team in implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and across the close and reporting processes. Collaborate with teams to refine accounting operations. Participate in special projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience. Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SL9, O365). Strong experience ensuring SOX compliance required.
