Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team in Columbus, Texas. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers the opportunity to play a key role in managing billing, cash applications, and account reconciliations. Responsibilities:
Prepare and distribute invoices using various billing portals while ensuring accuracy.
Maintain up-to-date and precise billing records for accounts receivable.
Process and apply cash receipts to appropriate accounts efficiently.
Assist with monthly accounting close activities, including account reconciliations.
Provide support for accounts payable functions as needed.
Collaborate on ad hoc financial projects and initiatives.
Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts within the accounting department.
Manage sales tax documentation and compliance where applicable. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Two to five years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including formulas and pivot tables.
Familiarity with billing portals such as Ariba and OpenInvoice.
Experience working with financial systems (specific system experience preferred).
Knowledge of sales tax processes is a plus.
