As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the campus, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, assisting individuals with questions and concerns while demonstrating strong communication skills. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities, documenting incidents as required by site protocols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain order within the location.
Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and coordinating with local authorities as needed.
Communicate clearly and professionally with all individuals encountered during patrols and/or incident response.
Remain alert to potential hazards or security-related concerns within the educational environment and report them promptly.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
