For more information, visit:www.gpinet.comResponsibilities:Should have a working knowledge of the design development process for various NYSDOT, NYSTA, county, and/or private projectsFamiliarity with AASHTO LRFD design specifications, NYS standard specifications, NYS Highway Design Manual andNYS Bridge Design ManualExperience in the design of roadway geometrics; intersections; drainage; erosion and sedimentation control; hydraulic and hydrology analysisKnowledge of the sequence of construction and maintenance of traffic plansPreparation of cost estimates and specifications is a plusQualifications:BSCE and EIT certification is required1 to 5 years of experience on transportation projects in New York including roadways, bridges, and trailsProficiency in MicroStation and Inroads is requiredRequirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final considerationRead, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English languageBasic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team membersAble to move equipment or inspection specimens weighing up to 50 poundsApply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjk5NzY5LjEwNDE3QGdwaWNvbXAuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t
