THE POSITION
Calling all information technology (IT) professionals! The Employment, Banking, and Revenue IT Delivery Center Solutions Management is on the lookout for an IT Generalist Administrator 2 to join our Revenue Lottery Insurance and Banking and Securities Division. This position allows you to utilize your specialized skill set to oversee administration of multiple complex systems utilized by the Pennsylvania Lottery that are critical for the end-to-end processing of nearly $5 billion in revenue. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Information Technology Generalist Administrator 2, you will serve as administrator, technical consultant, and team lead of design, testing, monitoring, analysis, and application delivery for Lottery systems that include gem eEnterprise (gemE), gem Intelligence (gemI), gem Retailer (gemR), Internal Control System (ICS), and the Pennsylvania Lottery website. Work involves a full range of supervisory duties including management of planning, organizing, and assigning work; determining priorities; setting goals; evaluating employee performance; and performing leave management. You will have the opportunity to direct , facilitate, and consult with users to discuss hardware and software needs as well as advise Executives on capabilities and limitations of available information technology. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with vendors, serving as the application solution lead for the Lottery's Internal Control System (ICS), and providing after hours support to ensure there are no interruptions to Lottery operations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report in-office on Tuesday and Wednesday each week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as an Information Technology Generalist Administrator 1, Senior Applications Developer, Database Administrator 1, Data Administrator 1, Information Security Specialist 2, or Network Administrator 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Six years of information technology experience that includes three years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services;or
Four years of information technology experience that includes three years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field;or
Two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field;or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
