Eaton's Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Beltsville, MD facility.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $77625.0 - $113850.0 a year.

What you'll do:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work within a cross-functional High Performance Work Team to achieve key business and financial goals by primarily focusing on the deployment of lean tools and processes, and the implementation and sustainment of safe and efficient manufacturing processes, including machine guarding and controls, tooling, fixtures, gauges, material handling, and process documentation.
What you'll do:
Deploy continuous improvement and lean implementation using Eaton Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) to eliminate waste, reduce process variations and deliver products to customer's expectations. Help facilitate kaizen events including the Value Stream Mapping Events, process improvements, and strategic initiatives in collaboration with the High-Performance Work Teams (HPWT).
Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and maintain accurate documentation to ensure they meet all internal and external customer quality specifications and internal and industry standard environmental, health and safety (EHS) standards.
Support daily production execution as an active member of the High-Performance Work Team (HPWT) through manufacturing process excellence, include troubleshooting machine and tooling problems, implementing continuous flow concepts and training production employees to execute processes as needed.
Design equipment, gauging, and tooling, and partner with supply chain to purchase supplies as needed.
Leverage manufacturing data to identify opportunities and develop and implement actions plans to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
Provide project management support for cost-out, new product introduction, factory layout, or other significant continuous improvement projects by communicating status updates, investigating, and troubleshooting issues / delays, and ultimately executing the plan on-time and within budget.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum of three (3) months of internship or co-op experience in engineering or manufacturing.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beltsville, MD will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum of one (1) year engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with Pro/E, Catia, Microsoft, Formal Lean Training.
Experience working in the Aerospace industry.
