Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Technician B you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our Space Division while working closely with the Operations team. Additionally, this role will be responsible for following standard practices and procedures to involve SMT/Leaded equipment.

Essential Functions:

· Complete assigned solder processes as required.

· Maintain product configuration information in appropriate documents.

· Support completion of assembly operations to meet delivery expectations.

· Perform torque training, inspection of hardware, hot air reworks, and mechanical assembly.

· Identify ways to improve current production processes and communicate ideas with appropriate personnel.

· Maintain status of units being processed.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· A High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of operating SMT equipment.

· Basic computer skills including familiarity with Excel.

· Strong written and interpersonal skills, such as communicating well with customers, management, as well as other disciplines in the organization.

· Strong planning/organizational skills with ability to prioritize work assignments.

· Ability to work individually and in a diverse and team-oriented environment.
