Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Accountant who has prior experience managing the financial aspects of large-scale construction projects or programs. The ideal individual will have prior experience successfully managing and leading a team.

Responsibilities:

Supporting the development and implementation of financial strategies for major construction projects.

Providing specialist financial and accounting advice to private sector clients across a variety of construction contracts.

Preparing and managing project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

Monitoring project costs and ensuring they align with the approved budget.

Conducting financial analysis and reporting on project performance.

Managing project billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Building positive relationships within the project team and with Client personnel and their key advisors.

Managing and updating internal financial trackers and supporting the financial capability of the project services division.

Supporting the delivery of both team and wider business targets.

SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

A minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry.

Working knowledge and experience of various financial management systems and software.

Experience in managing project budgets and financial reporting.

Experience in implementing financial strategies, including risk identification, quantification, and allocation.

Proven ability to liaise with and coordinate multiple stakeholders to develop robust financial documents.

Excellent communication skills.

Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role is $80K-$150K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. ?Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
