We operate in Canada as Engineered Lifting Systems and Equipment (ELS)/DBA Gorbel Canada, and subsequent communication related to Canadian positions may show the ELS name. Work Shift:Job Description:Duties include processing accounts payable and other accounting functions as required for a multi-company and multi-state organization.JOB DESCRIPTION Duties include processing accounts payable and other accounting functions as required for a multi-company and multi-state organization. RESPONSIBILITIES:Verify and audit vendor invoices in accordance with prescribed policies.Provide timely entry of invoices into accounting system.Resolve discrepant invoices with other departments and bring recurring issues to attention of management.Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner.Reconcile monthly corporate credit card invoices.Maintain weekly cash requirement projections and process check run.Complete month-end close related tasks.Establish new vendors and maintain vendor master information.Assist with annual 1099 processing.Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations for Ravenwood.Assist and provide back-up as needed for Ravenwood Accountant.Independently or part as a team identify and implement business process improvements.Participate in special projects as needed.QUALIFICATIONS:Associate's degree in accounting or related field.3+ years of experience in accounts payable.Experience in other accounting related functions ie: general bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.Strong interpersonal and team skills.Proficient in O365 suite of products including Excel, Word, Teams and SharePoint.BENEFITS: Medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401k with company contribution, FSA or HSA options, educational assistance, dependent scholarship program, life insurance, short and long term disability insurance, and much more!WORK ENVIRONMENT:ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace RequirementsOccasional lifting up to 25 lbs.Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of timePrimary work environment is professional corporate officeGorbel is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate on the basis of actual or perceived race, creed, color, religion, alienage or national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, disability or handicap, gender, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information, arrest record, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws.
