What You'll Do
As a Press Operator, you'll be part of our team located in Brea, CA. You'll get to:
Perform, sets up, and operates Komatsu and Maypresses to produce machined parts according to blueprints, router package specifications and/or special instructions.
Understand and use drawings, manuals, and work instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work-piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
Start and observe on-going machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
Prepare and verify production machine operations on trial run to ensure accuracy of machine settings.
Selects tooling and fixtures pertaining to the production operation of various @types of machines.
Checks tooling and replaces as needed to keep machine running.
Inspects parts for quality and appropriate tolerance using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
Recognizes and remedies minor machine malfunctioning or cutting action of tools.

Working experience in manufacturing environment.
5 years related industrial machine shop experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs, stand for the entire shift, work in an un air-conditioned, shop environment and able to bend, twist, and squat in sometimes awkward positions for prolonged periods of time while exerting force (pushing or pulling) on hand tools used to adjust machine.
Manual dexterity and visual acuity for detailed work.
