Job Description:
GDIT is seeking a HHS Business Development Senior Manager HHS for the Federal Health Division to join our outstanding Federal Health Growth team and lead Business Development in support of our Federal Health Business Area and specifically the HHS Account. You will report to the Senior Director of Strategic Growth and will be responsible for growth in concert with our HHS Business Area leadership, Federal Health CTO's team and others focused on growth throughout the Federal Health Sector.
You should have a proven record of successfully closing business on large and strategic opportunities, and an ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger Federal Health Growth organization. A demonstrated intimacy across the account and in particular an understanding of the FDA, CDC, and HHS OS strategic direction is required to perform this role.
This position provides an outstanding opportunity to work together with a growing and robust Federal Health team to apply the breadth of resources available in our organization to critical technology and mission challenges across the Federal Health community. The extent of our portfolio and the scale of our company ensure that you can take on new challenges and new roles as our business and mission-impact expands. The main location for this position can be located in Washington Metro Area, but other locations may be considered.
HOW A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SENIOR MANAGER HHS WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Identify and qualify new business opportunities. Develop and keep current an HHS Account Plan.
Maintain and keep current new business opportunity pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Develop and maintain high quality relationships with customers and partners, including next generation technology vendors.
Shape opportunities and our position throughout the opportunity life cycle in conjunction with assigned Capture Manager.
Formulate and support the communication and implementation of an integrated business development, capture and proposal strategy that clearly highlights GDIT's value proposition and discriminators and provides customers a clear and defensible justification for selecting GDIT for award.
Establish value added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures to create a profitable return at a winning cost.
Develop marketing strategies and providing input into market account plans with assigned account BD and P&L leaders that align with the company's strategic plan.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, 9+ years of hands-on experience in Federal Sales/Business Development
Required Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Federal Sales/Business Development
Required Technical Skills: Basic communication skills; ability to use Microsoft Office and PowerPoint skills
Required Skills and Abilities: Extensive background developing business focused on IT Services, Lifecycle SW development, ERP solutions, and federal health mission focused program support offerings.
Demonstrated ability to grow and win business within HHS
Experience with Federal Health budget, investments, and acquisition processes.
Public Trust/Position of Trust: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
Location: Falls Church, Virginia OR Gaithersburg, Maryland office with GDIT's hybrid work model; three days per week in either GDIT office

The likely salary range for this position is $165,750 - $224,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
