The department of Information Technology at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a full-time position as an Information Technology Specialist. Works in a team environment with administrators, faculty, students, and staff in a daily problem-solving manner to implement solutions for addressing a wide variety of technology-related needs.REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of two (2) years of technology, business, or education-related experience. Proficiency with microcomputer hardware maintenance and repair. Proficiency with software applications including Apple macOS, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office Suite. Good verbal and written communication skills. Must have good customer service skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors or Advanced degrees and/or industry certifications. Experience with server operating systems. Experience with network hardware including routers, bridges, and switches. Experience with IP Telephony and associated systems.
