ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Ensure that all PSI safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met

Prepare, critique, and edit written documents and correspondence for accuracy and presentation

Review and distribute incoming and outgoing office correspondence

Organize and/or assist in preparation of materials for internal and external meetings and classes

Schedule meetings and appointments as required

Manage the inventory of general safety supplies (i.e., first aid supplies, forms, documents, etc.)

Prepare purchase requisitions for supplies

Develop and / or assist with weekly safety briefs

Ensure all new hire folders are created and scanned into the department shared drive

Update all PSI employee training records in PSI Learning Management System (UKGPro LMS)

Manage confidential information and materials

Perform other related duties as required and assigned

COMPETENCIES

Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to details

Ability to work independently

Time management

Willingness and ability to work as a team member

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Environmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke. Work may be carried on indoors or outdoors, and may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time, safety-sensitive position. Standard days and hours of work vary by department, days and hours determined by department schedules.

Experience

Required

2-3 years:

Experience in an administrative role

Preferred

Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred

Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred
