Description We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Shingle Springs, California. This Contract-to-long-term position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and optimize warehouse operations while contributing to a growing, dynamic company. In this role, you will lead logistics, build a high-performing team, and implement efficient systems to ensure smooth operational processes.

Responsibilities:

Recruit, train, and mentor warehouse staff to build a skilled and motivated team.

Develop and enforce safety protocols to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.

Oversee inventory tracking and reporting, ensuring accuracy and minimizing shrinkage.

Manage order fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, shipping, and returns.

Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse functions and workflows.

Plan and prepare for operational growth by identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business expansion and align operations with company goals.

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and organizational standards.

Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement. Requirements - At least 7 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, with 2 or more years in a leadership role.

Proven ability to scale operations and build high-performing teams.

Strong understanding of safety standards and inventory management systems.

Excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively manage operations and team dynamics.

Experience with implementing and managing warehouse management systems (WMS).

A proactive problem-solving approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Demonstrated success in process improvement and operational efficiency.

Knowledge of best practices in warehouse layout, product handling, and order fulfillment. TalentMatch®
