Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our fast-paced stone fabrication team. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates interested in CNC work-no prior CNC experience required.

Responsibilities

Accurately measure and cut granite to job specifications using a tape measure and shop diagrams.

Operate and feed polishing and beveling machines.

Cut granite to length after processing, ensuring precision and adherence to design.

Manage the proper flow of tops to stay on production schedule.

Select and utilize appropriate tooling for CNC-based machinery.

Participate in preventative maintenance for CNC equipment.

Maximize production efficiency while minimizing remakes.

Assist in process development related to CNC routers.

Adjust and dress CNC tooling as needed.

Essential Skills

Strong ability to read and interpret shop diagrams and tape measurements.

Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment.

Basic math skills and ability to measure in standard or metric units.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and openness to process improvement.

Interest in or exposure to CNC machinery and fabrication processes.

Work Environment

The work environment is wet and dirtier, suitable for candidates comfortable in such conditions. The position operates on a swing shift from Monday to Thursday. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.55 - $19.55/hr.
