Advanced Research and Development of Novel AI/ML Algorithms: Conduct original research to develop new machine learning algorithms and AI models tailored explicitly for emerging financial markets and risk assessment. Circulate research findings to team members and management. Explore and implement cutting-edge techniques, including federated, reinforcement, and quantum machine learning for financial applications. Develop proprietary algorithms and intellectual property for the company.Strategic Planning and Technical Guidance in AI/ML Innovation: Develop a long-term AI/ML strategy aligned with the company's vision and market trends. Guide a team of data scientists and engineers in exploring and implementing advanced AI solutions. Estimate and recommend an AI/ML research budget. Maintain contact with stakeholders.Developing Ethical AI Frameworks and Governance: Design and implement ethical guidelines for AI/ML development and deployment in finance. Ensure compliance with existing and emerging regulations and standards related to AI ethics and data privacy. Develop frameworks for bias detection and mitigation in AI models. Conduct audits and assessments of AI systems to ensure fairness and transparency.Advanced Data Architecture and Infrastructure Design for AI/ML Research: Design and oversee the development of a robust data infrastructure optimized for AI/ML research, including specialized data lakes and high-performance computing environments. Implement advanced data governance and security measures to protect sensitive financial data. Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies for data storage, processing, and analysis.Mentoring and Education in Advanced AI/ML: Develop and deliver advanced training programs on AI/ML for internal teams. Mentor junior researchers and engineers, facilitating a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Assist in representing the company at industry events and academic forums, sharing knowledge and best practices.
