Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Santa Fe Springs, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing full-cycle accounts payable processes for a wholesale distribution company. If you have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high-volume payables, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

Process high-volume invoices with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely payments to vendors.

Perform three-way matching and heavy data entry.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies.

Maintain detailed records of transactions and update financial systems as required.

Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment-related issues.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable.

Strong data entry abilities, with alpha typing speeds between 6,000-10,000 kph.

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in processing invoices.

Familiarity with three-way matching and financial reconciliation processes.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
