Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Join a dynamic warehouse environment where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of storing and shipping consumer goods. As a Warehouse Worker, you will handle large materials and operate heavy-duty forklifts to facilitate the repair and shipment of goods to customers.

Responsibilities

Operate a large, 15,000+ lb diesel forklift to manage and transport goods within the warehouse.

Pull large items for repair and prepare them for shipment to customers.

Ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility.

Essential Skills

1-3 years of experience in a warehouse setting.

Proficiency in operating large, diesel sit-down forklifts, particularly those weighing over 15,000 lbs.

Experience with the Hyster brand forklifts is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in environments such as ship docks or companies handling large rolls of steel, plastic, or glass.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large warehouse where you will collaborate directly with a supervisor. You will have access to necessary equipment and technologies to perform your duties efficiently.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Melrose Park, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
