DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform a wide variety of administrative and clerical functions dealing with operations, human resources, payroll, revenue, and training of employees. The goal of this position is to relieve the Park Manager of administrative details. The Clerical Assistant 2 serves as the lead worker for the Aspira reservation system and includes public contact in accomplishing assignments and effective public relations. Knowledge and interpretation of the Bureau of State Parks and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources policies, rules, and regulations is needed in the completion of duties.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. Shift and schedule can vary to meet the operational needs of a 7 day/week operational facility. This position will be routinely scheduled to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed for park operations and to meet seasonal needs. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes). QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
