Linde Engineering North America LLC Electrical Engineer The Woodlands, TX United States | req24553 What you will enjoy doing*

In this role you will develop electrical power distribution systems for large industrial applications and you will responsible for the distribution design shall be performed using recognized industry standards and specifications

You will perform calculations and studies for electrical power systems using ETAP and/or SKM- load flow, voltage drop, motor starting, short circuit studies, relay coordination and arc flash studies

Set protective relays based on the results of the above studies

Also, you will review and check project related company drawings to ensure compliance with all company and project instructions/specifications

You will review and check vendor drawings to ensure compliance with: the scope of the purchase order, system functionality, constructability and all company and project instructions/specifications

Further, you will develop technical bid tabulation to support the selection of major electrical equipment

Work in a multi-discipline environment to achieve an on-time project completion while maintaining consistent and accurate documentation

What makes you great

You have a Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering, EIT preferred

Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), and IEEE Standards and International Codes is preferred

Also, you know effective computer skills like Microsoft Office software, and other discipline specific software applications

Basic understanding of ETAP and/or SKM is preferred in this role, as well as AutoCAD

In addition, you have effective verbal and written communication skills with superiors, colleagues, clients and vendors, moreover effective analytical and problem-solving skills
