Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Risk Manager to join our Procurement group at International!The Supply Chain Risk Manager position will work to identify and mitigate supplier risk, thereby avoiding potentially significant financial impacts associated with distressed supplier situations, including revenue loss, expediting and other crises related expenses (legal and specialized onsite supplier services) and providing a competitive advantage by being 'first in line' in distressed supplier situations.
Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of automation initiatives and evaluate industry-standard tools to minimize manual efforts in risk management.
Establish and maintain robust processes and tools to effectively manage crisis scenarios and evaluate comprehensive supplier risk.
Conduct thorough supplier risk assessments and identify necessary actions and resource allocations to mitigate identified risks.
Develop and oversee the execution of contingency plans for suppliers classified as high-risk.
Ensure active engagement and collaboration across cross-functional teams, with a particular focus on Buyers and specific team.
Critically evaluate mitigation plans to ensure they are adequate and progressing with the required urgency.
Maintain detailed documentation of progress and generate reports for inclusion in executive-level dashboard presentations.
Engage with supplier executive leadership, as appropriate, to ensure timely and effective completion of action plans.
Assign ownership and facilitate the implementation of projects listed on the supplier risk register.
Drive alignment among key stakeholders to ensure coordinated execution of risk mitigation strategies.
Identify opportunities to enhance supplier risk visibility by integrating data from external systems such as Salesforce, Prism, PeopleSoft, and other relevant portals.
Design, refine, and implement standardized templates and processes to improve the management of supplier risk.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of International's current systems and apply lean methodologies to identify and eliminate potential risks.
Lead risk assessments related to sourcing recommendations for service providers, ensuring alignment with organizational risk tolerance.
Evaluate supplier capacity and take a leadership role in defining and executing actions to address capacity-related risks.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree
At least 5 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
1 year lead experience
OR
Master's degree
At least 3 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
1 year lead experience
OR
At least 8 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
1 year lead experience
Additional Requirements
Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
