OVERVIEW:
With minimal oversight or assistance, this role involves the comprehensive compilation and in-depth analysis of complex payroll and financial data. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset in creating and meticulously examining monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as well as bi-weekly payroll reporting. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring the utmost accuracy and integrity of all recorded financial information, leveraging their expertise to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for potential optimization. This position requires a proactive approach to financial management, combining analytical prowess with a thorough understanding of accounting principles to provide valuable insights that drive informed decision-making across the location.
Key Responsibilities:
Reports to Finance Director.
Responsible for bi-weekly payroll process for the location.Assists the Finance Director with the supervision and oversight of the payroll process and Payroll Coordinator team.
Responsible for investigation and analysis of pay and benefit accrual discrepancies.Assists the Finance Director with required benefit accrual adjustments in VDS and the communication to the employee.
Responsible for the accounts payable process for the location.Assists the Finance Director with the supervision and oversight of the AP process and AP Coordinator team.
Responsible for investigation and analysis of invoice, vendor and payment discrepancies.Assists the Finance Director with the resolution of these issues and necessary communications with vendors, corporate, other 3rd parties and the client as needed.
Responsible for certain aspects of month end close to include sales use tax reporting, intercompany wage transfers and accounts payable accruals.May be required to assist the Finance Director with financial forecasting, month end accrual uploads and other various KPI reporting.
Assists the Finance Director with certain client reporting related to the weekly processing of the missed service reconciliation, intercompany invoicing, 3rd party invoicing and client invoicing for the reimbursable vehicle repairs (bill back / pass through invoicing).
Assists the Finance Director with bi-weekly accrual adjustments, overtime pay reporting and benefit accrual uploads.
May be required to assist the inventory management team to ensure compliance with company standards.
Additional duties as assigned by the Finance Director and/or Area General Manager.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in an accounting management role
Bachelor's degree in accounting (preferred)
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Strong knowledge of payroll, accounting, cost controls, and job costing
Ability to understand and review complex billing and job costing concepts.
Proficient in MS Office products, including Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat
Knowledge of automated account system such as J.D. Edwards System
Knowledge of automated payroll system such as ADP
Ability to effectively communicate, both in writing and verbally, and make recommendations.
Able to work as a team player with a willingness to be flexible and adaptable to change.
Open to development of skills and knowledge

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
Position primarily based at the 3214 Citizen Ave., North Las Vegas location but may be required to work from the 5165 W. Sunset Rd., Las Vegas location as needed.
