Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing setting. This role involves working hands-on with electronic assemblies, performing tests, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate closely with leadership and Test Engineers.

Responsibilities

Perform debug and test assemblies to component level, utilizing block diagrams and schematics.

Maintain and upkeep testing equipment.

Troubleshoot operator issues and work with leadership on training and process improvements.

Provide training and ongoing support to Test operators.

Communicate problems to Test Engineers and leadership.

Assist in performing experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.

Recommend additional equipment needs for product debug areas.

Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities.

Comply with and follow all company security policies and procedures.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Work on problems of limited scope, following standard practices and procedures to analyze situations or data.

Build stable working relationships internally.

Learn to use professional concepts and apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.

Receive detailed instructions on all work.

Essential Skills

Soldering

Assembly

Electrical engineering

Schematic reading

Troubleshooting

Use of electronics test equipment, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters

PCB testing and debugging

Circuit board knowledge

Utilization of basic hand and power tools

Experience with Six Sigma methodologies

Wiring

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience soldering on PCBs

Minimum of 1 year experience testing PCBs

Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

Work Environment

This position is located on-site in a manufacturing setting in Rochester. The work environment is collaborative and focused on continuous improvement, with opportunities to utilize a range of technologies and equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
