Job Title: Electrical Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead and manage commercial electrical projects. This leadership role involves supervising job sites, coordinating crews, and ensuring timely completion of projects within budgetary constraints. The ideal candidate will focus on supervision, planning, and team leadership, stepping away from hands-on tools.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial job sites.

Coordinate daily tasks, delegate responsibilities, and ensure productivity.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.

Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety standards.

Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and clients.

Monitor project timelines, materials, and labor to ensure efficiency.

Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.

Train and mentor apprentices and journeymen electricians.

Utilize Procure software to track job progress, input punch list items, and manage project documentation.

Use a smartphone or mobile device proficiently to stay connected, update job statuses, and communicate in real time.

Essential Skills

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial electrical work.

Strong knowledge of NEC codes, commercial wiring methods, and safety practices.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Comfortable using mobile technology and job management software (Procure experience preferred).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience using Procure is a plus, but not required.

Work Environment

Work on various commercial and industrial projects with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. The dress code requires steel toes, safety glasses, and a hi-vis vest.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
