Fixed Income Capital Markets within CIB has product origination-focused teams who focus on Investment Grade and Leveraged Finance debt products and also work closely with other key business units including our Coverage and - Risk and Controls partners that are important partners to these businesses. The FICM business is supported by a COO team which works directly with business leaders and support partners across the organization and serves as a trusted advisor in establishing business priorities, partnering with the broader Wells Fargo and CIB organization. The team also ensures optimal efficiency of all aspects of the FICM business. This role will play a critical role in the implementation of the overall CIB vision, strategy, and the planning and facilitation of supporting initiatives.
This opportunity will support FICM in executing business and client priorities, partnering with the broader Wells Fargo organization, and running the day-to-day operations of the business. The individual will collaborate with the Capital Markets COOs, Leveraged Finance Group Heads and Investment Grade DCM Group Heads to meet business needs.
In this role, you will:
Strategic business planning, routine pipeline reporting and analysis of deals done away
Supporting Group Head Executive, COO, and other business leaders in initiative tracking, project execution, and banker scorecards
Supporting Corporate Investment Bank wide initiatives, projects, and assisting in development of strategic plans
Project management, data analysis, integrating financials into streamlined executive presentations
Support operational processes and participate in regulatory compliance activities such as internal audits
Knowledge or ability to learn key systems including Salesforce & internal financial reporting systems
Partner with Chief Operating Office to ensure consistent communication to banking teams
Prepare product level reporting and data analysis including analyzing 3rd party data providers like Dealogic for fee competitor benchmarking
Maintain data integrity and pipeline management
Assist with regular recurring origination and pipeline meetings including preparation of executive level presentations materials
Leveraging CRM tools and data outputs to interpret and analyze performance by sector and banker
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Corporate & Investment Banking experience
Strategy, financial and/or analytics experience
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills for executive presentations
Experience with customer relationship management systems (CRMs) such as Salesforce or market data vendors like Dealogic, Factset, Moody's, or S&P
Experience in financial analysis including company assessment (leverage, working capital), global market awareness -and internal client/LOB financial performance analysis
Ability to articulate issues, risks, and propose solutions to various levels of staff and executive management
Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$87,000.00 - $168,000.00
