The Veteran Experienced Talent (VET) Program is a 6-week direct hire program dedicated to hiring military talent. Veterans are hired as full-time employees and will receive support and coaching aimed at supporting transition into Wells Fargo. The program includes a two-day Military Orientation led by the Military Talent Strategic Sourcing (MTSS) Team or Learning and Development Facilitators. Weekly professional development sessions are held to ease transition, network, and build camaraderie within the cohort. In addition, VET Program Alumni are available to mentor and support hires.

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Relationship Support Specialist to join the Credit and Data Administration (CDA) team within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Lending Operations. This role focuses on post-transaction support, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of credit-related data and documentation across the bank's systems.
About the Line of Business
Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) provides a full suite of corporate banking solutions including credit, treasury management, and derivatives, to clients in Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Structured Products. The CDA team plays a critical role in supporting these lines of business by managing post-close activities and maintaining high standards of data quality and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will
Execute post-transaction processes related to corporate credit facilities, ensuring timely and accurate data entry and validation.
Review legal and credit approval documentation to confirm alignment with internal systems of record.
Collaborate with deal teams, credit execution, and operations to ensure consistency and completeness of transaction data.
Address and resolve complex issues, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
Apply a strong understanding of bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
Partner with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and drive process improvements.
Exercise sound judgment and develop subject matter expertise in credit operations, procedures, regulatory reporting and data governance.
Represent the CDA group in cross-functional initiatives and forums.
Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Service in any branch of the military
In-depth experience within credit operations or related field
Detailed understanding of credit documentation and corporate loan structures
Knowledge of booking and closing processes
Experience with credit systems such as LIQ, nCino, CoRS, ICMP, WCIS, ART, TRE, RCS, E-TRAC
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and complex environment to meet deadlines and achieve goals
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams and organizational levels.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Ability to work outside of normal business hours if needed
