The Junior Marketing Designer has a strong background in design for marketing communication. Having the ability to navigate and adapt your work to different sets of brand compliance guidelines, you will be tasked with creating new campaigns from conceptualization to production. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of typography, color theory, visual composition and design hierarchy. A strong awareness of industry trends and best practices and adept knowledge of effective design techniques will set you apart from the pack.
A successful Junior Marketing Designer will:
Design automotive marketing campaigns primarily for direct mail, along with email and digital channels
Collaborate with campaign managers, marketing developers and vendors to assess project briefs and provide design solutions
Collaborate with senior designers to ideate, test and create production-ready campaign files
Assist with monthly campaign updates and periodical updates to overall campaign design and imagery
Prepare design files with proper organization of artboards, assets and brand profiles
Maintain organization of brand assets and update as new content is made available (logos, colors, fonts, etc.)
Develop a detailed knowledge of brand CI guidelines and brand voice, and apply across all marketing campaigns
Periodically assist with ad-hoc design requests (presentations, one-pagers, etc.)
Research and document industry trends and best practices
Who You Are :
Education or experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
Some professional design experience, with a strong emphasis on print marketing
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Have a solid understanding of layout, typography, and color theory
Familiar with preparing files for print production
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
You have a portfolio showcasing thoughtfully designedprint and digital work
Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Adept at maintaining high-quality work under tight deadlines
A dedicated problem-solver with a proactive mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
Sketch, Figma, XD or similar UX prototyping tool is a plus
An intermediate understanding of both print and digital design
HTML experience is a plus
Knowledge of variable data is a plus
Where you will be:
?This position is based in our New York headquarters. We work a hybrid work schedule with a current minimum of two teamwide designated days in the office.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $59,212 to $90,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
