Description

A well-established organization in the manufacturing industry is seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead its accounting and financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial management, strategic planning, and operational support within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, inventory control, internal audits, and financial reporting.

Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Partner with operational leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Supervise and develop a high-performing finance team, setting performance goals and supporting professional growth.

Ensure timely and accurate financial closings and reporting to corporate leadership.

Monitor and evaluate capital expenditures, inventory processes, and cost accounting practices.

Support internal and external audit processes and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.

Drive continuous improvement in financial operations and contribute to cost reduction and profitability initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting within a manufacturing setting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proven leadership experience managing finance teams and cross-functional collaboration.

Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion).

U.S. work authorization required; this role is subject to compliance with applicable export control regulations.

Preferred:

CPA, CMA, or MBA.

Experience with cost accounting, financial planning, and strategic analysis.

Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
